Tonk. The body of a youth immersed in a pond was found 23 hours after 23 hours in Charu village of Aligarh police station area of Uniara subdivision of the district. The young man was identified as Dara Singh Kalbeliya, a resident of Jhundwa. He drowned while taking a bath in the pond on Wednesday evening.
Aligarh Police Officer Pawan Kumar Chaudhary reached the spot with the team on the information of the accident. A team of civil defense was called to search for the young man. The search continued till late night, but the body was not found. Angry family members tried to jam the Tonk-Sawai Madhopur National Highway. Police officer Pawan Kumar Chaudhary, who was present on the occasion, got the jam removed by explaining. From Thursday morning, Civil Defense Team, Aligarh Police Officer Pawan Kumar Chaudhary, Sop Police Officer Ghasilal Meena and his team started searching again. The SDRF team was called for not getting success. The team started a rescue operation in the pond.
After 23 hours of hard work, the body of the youth was recovered from the pond on Thursday evening. The body is placed in Morchari in Aligarh. SDRF, Civil Defense, Aligarh and Sop police stations played an important role in the rescue.
