Russia attacked Ukraine’s capital Kiev

Kiev: Moscow has taken an aggressive stance in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Russia has carried out a fierce missile and drone attacks on Ukraine on Wednesday night. 9 people have died in these attacks by Russia while 70 others including 6 children were injured. Ukraine officials have informed about this attack on behalf of Russia.

Search for people buried under debris continues

Kiev City Military Administration reported on its Telegram channel that Russia has attacked Kiev with drones and ballistic missiles. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said that at least 42 people have been admitted to the hospital. Rescue operations have been going on since Thursday morning to find the dead bodies buried under the debris.

Fire in residential buildings

Kiev’s military administration chief Timur Takchenko said that due to these attacks, fire has been reported in several residential buildings. The attack started at around 1 pm and during this time at least four areas of Kiev were targeted. Takachhenko said that there has been a huge devastation during the attacks in SwIEATOSHINSCI district. The attack took place at a time when peace talks between Russia and Ukraine are seen to come to a standstill.
