Lucknow, 26 April (IANS). The Yogi government is once again going to present the strength, possibilities and achievements of Uttar Pradesh in front of the country and the world. For this, the Yogi government is going to organize the third Grand Mega UP International Trade Show (UPITS) – 2025 in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29.
The nodal officers of 35 departments of the state will take over this mega event, while in the 50,000 square meter area, 48 stakeholders will set up their respective exhibitions under 12 major categories. Its purpose is to establish the state as a global hub of trade, investment, entrepreneurship and cultural heritage. Multidimensional capabilities of the state will be displayed through trade shows.
Preparations for the International Trade Show have been started on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In such a situation, a list of departments participating in the show and their nodal officers has been prepared to organize the trade show. These include a total of 35 departments mission directors, special secretaries, directors and senior officials of Commissioner level, who will take over the responsibility of successful organizing UPITS -2025.
The show will have active participation of departments like UP Invest, Industrial Authorities (UPCIDA, GIDA, YIDA), MSME, agriculture, energy, electronics, health, tourism, food processing, dairy, animal husbandry, Khadi etc. The exhibition at the trade show is divided into 12 categories. These include industry, MSME, agriculture and allied industries, energy, environment, health, education, electronics, defense, tourism, transport, EV and Finance.
A total of 48 stakeholders will present their exhibitions in these categories. This exhibition will be organized in 50 thousand square meters. The MSME sector alone will set up an exhibition in an area of 15,700 square meters, which reflects the strength and diversity of this sector.
The state’s GI tag and ODOP will play an important role in the trade show. In this, products like Agra Petha, Malihabad’s mango, Moradabad’s Brass of Banaras, Carpet of Bhadohi, Chikankari of Lucknow will be presented internationally. In the show, efforts will be made to promote the export of these products and to establish a connection with global buyers, realizing Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Vocal for Local Vision.
The trade show will attract investment in the state, making new employment opportunities at the local level. The mega event also features MoUs in areas such as health, food processing, electronics, defense manufacturing, agricultural technology and renewable energy.
This will be a vibrant example of the international trade show ‘New Picture of New Uttar Pradesh’, which will introduce the country and the world with the changing identity and possibilities of the state. The trade show under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will install the state on a global investment map and firmly.
