New Delhi: After a few days of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh i.e. RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has made an important statement on Saturday on the form of Hinduism and the principle of non-violence. He clarified that non -violence is the origin of Hinduism, but punishing the oppressors is also part of religion. Speaking at a program, he appealed to Hindu society to understand his religion according to time and adopt the tradition of scripture.
‘Killing the oppressors is also religion’
Speaking at the unveiling program of Swami Vigyanananda’s book ‘The Hindu Manifesto’ in Delhi, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘Ahimsa is our religion. But killing the oppressors is also religion, non -violence. That is not violence. Those who have no cure, send them to another place for treatment. We do not harm neighbors. But it is also the king’s job to punish the culprits. The king will do his duty. Although he did not name anyone in his statement, Bhagwat’s statement is considered very important after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
‘We have a tradition of debate here’
Emphasizing the tradition of scripture, Bhagwat said, “We have a tradition of scripture. In which a proposal is made. All the views are made. In which there are both the former side and the north side. The name menifesto is a little confusing. The election has a manifesto of parties and a book is also written in this name. The formulas that are written in this book. There will be discussion.
‘There is no distinction of caste and caste in the scriptures’
Citing Hindu scriptures, Bhagwat said, ‘There is no distinction of caste and stone in our scriptures. But maybe someone is benefiting from it, so implemented it. ‘ He emphasized the need to understand his religion deeply from Hindu society. Bhagwat said, ‘Today Hindu society needs to understand Hinduism. When such books are discussed, one opinion on it will be prepared. And he needs. So that the right time-happy form of our religion will come in front of us.
‘India will give the third way to the world’
Referring to the existing challenges before the world, Bhagwat said, ‘The world needs a new way today. The experiments that were done in the last 2000 years have not been famous. Not satisfaction, not a solution. Find physical pleasure, but also suffer. The world watched 2 paths. Now only India can give the third way, and the world also expects it.
