New Delhi, 28 April (IANS). Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Monday expressed happiness over the distribution of Ayushman Vy Vandana card in the national capital Delhi.
Talking to the media on the sidelines of the ceremony organized for the distribution of Vy Vandana card at Tyagraj Stadium in Delhi, Hardeep Singh Puri said that in 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. But alas, it was not implemented in Delhi. He praised Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for implementing the scheme two months after the formation of the BJP government in Delhi.
The Union Minister hoped that in the coming days and hospitals would join under the scheme.
In addition, he also expressed his opinion on the central government banning Pakistani YouTube channels. He said that this is the Modi government, which believes in taking concrete steps contrary to the previous governments.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, what steps will be taken in the future, we cannot sit here and guess any kind. The government will definitely give a suitable reply to Pakistan in its own way.
He also reacted to the statements being made by Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is constantly saying that ‘we will do this, we will do it’. Pakistan should first evaluate its mental state. Only then a statement should be made on a subject.
He said that this time the Modi government will not make any kind of compromise with terrorism. Pakistan will be given a befitting reply to its terrorist antics. This time we do not accept any kind of compromise.
He said on the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty that the treaty was done in 1960. A country is constantly attacking us, so will we be able to give it water in such a situation? The answer is clear, “not at all”. How will we give water to any person or country who is constantly attacking us.
