New Delhi, 28 April (IANS). Robot is also creating new records of success in the medical field, in this episode, billionaire Alan Musk said on Monday that the robot has the ability to overtake the Best Human Surgeon within five years.
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX stated that their brain-computer interface company ‘Neuralink’ depended on the robot for brain-computers electrode inspection. It was impossible to do this work with humans.
Musk wrote in a post on the social media platform X, “The robots will overtake the good human surgeon within a few years and will overtake the Best Human Surgeon within five years.”
“Nuralink had to use robots for brain-computers electrode inspection, as this work was impossible as the speed and accuracy for humans to achieve the necessary speed and accuracy.”
The post came in response to another post of Mario Naufal, in which Mario highlighted the recent success of robotics in the medicine of America -based medical device company Medtronic.
Naufal said that Medtronic has successfully established its Hugo robotic system with 137 real surgery to fix prostate, kidney and bladder.
The results of the surgery were better than the expectation of doctors and the success rate of more than 98 percent was seen.
Talking about the complexity rate, it was 3.7 percent for prostate surgery, 1.9 percent for kidney surgery and 17.9 percent for bladder surgery, which was quite low.
Only two out of 137 surgery needed to return to regular surgery.
Meanwhile, Musk’s ‘Nuralink’ is currently engaged in clinical testing of its brain-computer interface technology.
The company aims to create a brain -control equipment for paralyzed or neurodogenorative patients.
So far, only three people have successfully received the ‘neuralink brain implant’.
Earlier, Musk said in the X post in 2024, “If all was well, then in a few years people with ‘neuralg brain implants’ will be in hundreds. Perhaps in 5 years such people will have thousands of people in thousands and 10 years.”
