The Panchmukhi Chal-Vagraha Doli of Shri Kedarnath Bhagwan was duly worshiped from the Shri Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath district in Ukhimath district on Monday and departed devoutly amidst devotional tunes of the army band. On the occasion of the departure of Doli, devotees thronged the Omkareshwar temple complex and the atmosphere was resonant with the shouts of “Jai Kedarnath” all around.
Record pilgrims will reach Dham to take Baba’s blessings
On this occasion, Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal sought a vow to bless Lord Kedarnath on the devotees visiting Baba Kedar. He said that this time too, the records will reach Dham to seek the blessings of the pilgrim Baba. He said that complete preparations have been made by the government and administration for the yatra. No devotee will be allowed to face any kind of problem.
BKTC Executive Officer Vijay Thapliyal said that preparations for the yatra have been completed. He informed that on April 29, Doli will depart from Guptkashi and reach Fata and there will be night rest. On April 30, Doli will reach Shri Gauramai Temple, Gaurikund and rest there.
The doors of Shri Kedarnath will open for common people from May 2
On May 1, Doli will depart from Gaurikund and reach the temple store at Shri Kedarnath Dham in the afternoon. On May 2, the doors of Shri Kedarnath will be opened to visit the common devotees. He said that Bhukunt Bhairav, the protector of Kedarpuri, was worshiped late on Sunday.
Senior BKTC officers and employees were present on the occasion including Shri Kedarnath Rawal Bhimashankar Linga, Chief Priest Bageshwar Linga, Senior Priest Shivshankar Linga and a large number of devotees of BKTC.
