Ajmer. The main road of the city, from Agra Gate to Agrasen Square, will now be known as Sant Shiromani Shri Namdev Maharaj Marg. There is a wave of joy in Namdev society with this naming. On Tuesday, Namdev Tank Kshatriya Samaj Sansthan Ajmer and Shri Namdev Vitthal Temple and Panchayat Bhawan Chappan Trust organized a grand reception and reception ceremony at the residence of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Tuesday. Representatives of the society thanked Devnani for this historic decision by garlanding Devnani. The officials of the society described this naming as an important step to remember the saint tradition and spiritual contribution of Saint Namdev Maharaj. He said that this decision will connect the coming generations with the ideals of Saint Namdev.
On this occasion, Aneesh Goyal, Rakesh Verma, Trilok Chand Nama, Dr. B.R. Chhipa (former Vice Chancellor), Dinesh Bandhiwal, Vinay Dosaya (Minister), Sanjeev Nagar (former councilor), Prahlad Chhipa, Nandlal Chhipa (Patron), Santosh Kumar Chhipa, Ashok Kumar Chhipa, Vishnu Kumar Chhipa, Rajesh Madatwal, Tikam Ji Bakaliwal and Tarachand Kaniganwa were present.
At the ceremony, Vasudev Devnani congratulated the society for this achievement and said that the naming of roads in the name of saints promotes harmony, inspiration and spirit of service among the people. He said that the ideals of Saint Namdev Maharaj will always inspire the society.
