But, now with the upcoming film Kesari Veer, he is finally ready to do a blast in the industry. Actor Suraj Pancholi is returning to theaters after four years from ‘Kesari Veer’. Her life has gone through a lot of difficulties since Jia Khan went to jail in a suicide case. During a recent promotional event, he talked about this and revealed that now he is taking forward all the bad memories in life.
Suraj Pancholi’s career was ruined due to this
On 3 June 2013, Jia Khan died after being hanged at her residence in Juhu, Mumbai at night. Suraj Pancholi’s name was revealed in this case, after which he was surrounded by controversies. Jia Khan and Suraj Pancholi were dating each other. Suraj’s name was in Jia Khan’s suicide letter. Subsequently, he was arrested and had to spend 22 days in jail. The matter went on long and his image affected. Finally, after a long legal battle in 2023, the Mumbai court acquitted him in the case. The court found during the hearing that there was no concrete evidence against the actor. During this time, Suraj had to struggle a lot in his acting career. His first film ‘Hero’ (2015) proved to be a flop. His next films ‘Satellite Shankar’ (2019) and ‘Time to Dance’ (2021) were also badly beaten at the box office. He gradually disappeared from the limelight with three unsuccessful films.
After 4 years, actor will create panic with comeback
Now, Suraj Pancholi is making a comeback with Kesari Veer which is based on the real story of Hamirji Gohil, a warrior fighting to protect the Somnath temple. It is a historical action film. It also stars Sunil Shetty, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma. It is going to come to theaters on May 16, 2025. At the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Suraj became emotional and thanked the team for believing them. He said that he was waiting for the right film and this is perfect for him. Suraj said, ‘Look, people who know me, they know that my heart is clear.’ It also stated that his biggest strength was his sister and mother. Suraj Pancholi’s last release was ‘Time to Dance’ which came in 2021.
