Bhubaneswar: A sensational incident took place at the Kit University of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 21 -year -old student from Nepal, Prisha Saha committed suicide in the university hostel. She was a first year student of computer science and was living in the girls’ hostel number 4 of the university.
According to the information, Prisha’s body was found hanging from the fan in his room at around 7 pm. As soon as this information was received, other students of the hostel immediately informed the police. Infosity police station, scientific team, and Bhubaneswar Police Commissioner Suresh Devdutt Singh and other senior officials reached the spot and started the investigation.
Prisha was alone in the room
The police commissioner said that “When 7:00 attendance was being taken in the evening, Priha Saha was alone in her room and when the door of Trisha’s room was knocked for attendance, when there was no sound from inside, when other students of the hostel opened the door, it was found that Prisha Saha’s corpse is hanging from the fan. Has fully cooperated with us and further investigation is still on.
Suicide note not found by chance
Police said that no suicide note or anything has been recovered from Prisha in the current situation, although we have seized the diary and other items of Prisha and started further investigation. A case of unnatural death has been registered yet and no one else has been revealed. If any such clue is found further, then we will definitely take action. Right now the ACP, DP and other police officers of the zone are present on the spot and are investigating the case.

We are also questioning the students whether Mritika had a conversation with anyone before his death? Did he tell anyone about his mental state? We have also informed Prisha’s family and Embassy. The family members of Prisha will reach Bhubaneswar by tomorrow morning and the rest of the investigation will be done only after the post -mortem report. “
Prisha’s family and Nepal Embassy have been informed of the incident. So far no official statement has been issued by the university administration. The incident has caused sensation in the university campus and students are shocked. The police is investigating whether there is any mental pressure or other reason behind it.
