Kedarnath Kapat: On Friday morning, the doors of Lord Shiva’s holy Dham Shri Kedarnath Temple were opened to the devotees amid chants and shouts of devotees. As soon as the kapat opened, the devotees were showering flowers and Jai Baba Kedar’s Jayghosh echoed all around. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was also present on this auspicious occasion.
Chief Minister Dhami worshiped Baba Kedarnath and welcomed the devotees and said that this is the auspicious time which all the devotees wait throughout the year. I heartily welcome and greeted all of you on this holy dham of Baba. After the opening of the kapat, various cultural programs were also organized in the temple premises. The temple and the surrounding environment remain completely devotional. Devotees who came from far and wide became emotional on this occasion. Chief Minister Dhami said that this time special preparations have been made to make the yatra completely systematic and safe. He said that as soon as the journey of 2024 ended, we started preparations for the journey of 2025. It is our endeavor that the devotees coming from the country and the world should not have any kind of inconvenience. He also informed that after two days, the doors of Badrinath Dham will also be opened for the devotees, after which the Chardham Yatra will start completely.
Special worship done in the name of the Prime Minister
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami also performed special worship in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dhami said that today we have prayed to Baba Kedarnath to provide strength and security to the Prime Minister and the roots of terrorism and separatism should be ended in the country. The culprits of the recent incident in Pahalgam will get the justice of Baba. Uttarakhand has once again become the center of reverence and faith with this holy launch of Chardham Yatra.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today is a very good day. Our Prime Minister is an exclusive devotee of Baba. Every time the first worship is done here in his name. This time also worship has been done that Baba (Prime Minister Modi) should give him the power to lead the country for a long time. It is our endeavor that this journey should be easy for the devotees who attend this journey. The renovation and re -construction work here has started since 2014. The entire complex was damaged after the 2013 disaster. It is our attempt to complete this Navnirman and Re -construction work under the guidance of the Prime Minister as soon as possible.
