There is important news for railway passengers. Many people have been waiting for the start of the Vande Bharat train between Pune and Ahmedabad for a long time, but now an official answer has come from the Railways to start Vande India on this route.
23 pairs of trains are already running on this route
According to the Railways, at present, 23 pairs of Mail/Express/Superfast/DRNT/TOD trains are already running on Pune to Ahmedabad route. This means that the train traffic on this route is already very high.
Pune station does not have necessary facilities
The letter sent by the Central Railway states that Pune stations have a lack of essential infrastructure facilities like platform, pit line and stabling line. For this reason, running any new train from here is not possible at the moment.
The letter clearly states:
“Due to infrastructure constraints like platform, Pit line & stabling line at pune station, it is operationally not feasible to introduction of new training.”
Vande Bharat train running policy
Railways also said that running the Vande Bharat train on any route is not just technical, but a decision related to policy. It only decides the Railway Board on which route the Vande Bharat train will be run and not on which.
Passengers will have to do and wait
If you are waiting for the Vande Bharat Express between Pune and Ahmedabad, then you will have to wait longer. According to the railway, there is no plan to start this train on this route right now.
The Railways has reiterated that until the necessary infrastructure is formed and the Railway Board does not get approval under the policy, it is not possible to start the Vande Bharat train on this route.
