The city of Alwar is once again shaken by a cruel and embarrassing incident. On 22 April, a NEET student of Bhiwadi was abducted in an e-rickshaw in broad daylight and raped her by four youths. After the incident, the accused escaped leaving the victim near a private hospital. In connection with this incident, the victim’s father, who lives in Bhiwadi, lodged a complaint at the Ned Police Station in Alwar on 29 April. However, initially the Naed police station remained silent on the matter, but later SHO Dinesh Meena himself admitted the crime and informed about the entire incident, stating that the accused had also made pornographic videos of the student.
Despite 10 days of the incident, the police have not made any arrest in the case. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), along with private coaching institutes, staged a huge protest outside the Rajiv Gandhi Park in Moti Dungri to demand the arrest of the accused. The students held placards in their hands and were demanding justice.
The private coaching institute said that this incident is not only a failure of law and order, but also a failure of democracy. He appealed to the people to come on the streets to raise their voice. ABVP Gauri Devi College unit president Anushka Chaudhary said that only the victim can understand the pain of the incident, but the accused are roaming openly, which is even more embarrassing.
The protesters also made serious allegations against the state government and Alwar MLA Sanjay Sharma that they are doing politics only sitting on the post, while the public is taking to the streets for justice and they are not worried about it. Whether the matter is of rape or any other crime related to women – the silence of these leaders is shameful and they are not pressurizing for any arrest.
RSS Union pracharak Garima Gupta said that if justice is no longer there is no justice, women will be forced to take up arms for self -defense and this day will definitely come in Alwar, because the way crimes against women are increasing is not hidden from anyone. When the police do nothing, women will be forced to take up arms themselves.
