War not solve any problem
Gutaras said that I understand the feelings after the terrible terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. I once again strongly condemn that attack and express my condolences to the families of the victims. It is unacceptable to target citizens, and those responsible should be brought to the dock of justice in reliable, legitimate ways. But in the meantime, both countries need to avoid military confrontation, which can be easily out of control, especially in this important time.
It’s time to avoid war
He said that now is the time to retreat from the maximum restraint and the verge of war. This has been my message in my continuous contact with both countries. Do not make any mistake, military solution is not a solution, and I give my blessings to both governments in the service of peace. “The United Nations is ready to support any initiative that promotes new commitment to diplomacy and peace to reduce stress,” United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres said at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Let us know that after the terrorist attack in the Basaron Valley of Kashmir on 22 April, the tension between India and Pakistan is continuously increasing.
