The case related to the sub -inspector recruitment exam 2021 (Rajasthan SI Recruitment Exam 2021) was heard in the Jaipur Bench of Rajasthan High Court on Monday. Today the Rajasthan government had to present its case in the court. But the government did not file any reply. Annoyed by this, the judges of the High Court said, “This is the last chance for the Rajasthan government.” Present your reply in the court by May 15 in relation to SI recruitment. Otherwise we will declare our decision.
So far 86 officers have been dismissed.
In fact, in the year 2021, vacancies were advertised to fill 859 posts of SI. But when irregularities came to light in this case, SOG arrested a total of 150 people, including 50 trainee sub -inspectors and two members of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. ADG VK Singh of ATS-SOG had said that a total of 86 public servants, including 45 trainee sub-inspectors selected in the SI-Bharti Examination-2021, have been dismissed from service after the formation of SIT on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Confusion persists over recruitment can be canceled
The Advocate General of Police Headquarters and the State Government has also recommended to cancel the examination. A cabinet committee of 6 ministers was also constituted on 1 October 2024 to decide whether the SI Recruitment Examination-2021 should be canceled or not. Cabinet Minister Kirori Lal Meena has also written several letters to the Chief Minister demanding the cancellation of the recruitment examination. However, confusion over the cancellation of recruitment is still intact.
