Foods for healthy liver
Liver is a very important organ of our body, which works like detoxification, digestion and energy collection. The liver is important for overall health as it performs essential functions such as toxic, metabolism and storage of nutrients. If you want to keep the liver healthy, it can be very beneficial for you to include some foods in your diet.
Foods beneficial for healthy liver:
Garlic: Helps the liver detox. It contains alicin and selenium, which cleans the liver. To benefit from garlic for liver health, it is best to eat it raw, empty stomach, or include it in food. Raw garlic contains alicin, a compound that is diluted during cooking. It is advisable to eat 1-2 raw garlic buds or 2-4 buds in food.
Beetroot: Beetroot cleanses blood and improves liver function. It contains betalines, which support the detox process. Beet can be eaten raw, cooked or juice to keep the liver healthy. Beet juice, especially raw, is considered a good source of antioxidants and beetines, which can help the liver detoxifies and improve its functioning.
Leafy Greens: Green leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, mustard – these blows toxins from the body. They increase bile (bile) production in the liver. Leafy vegetables can be eaten raw or cooked and should be part of a balanced diet. You can include them as salads, smoothies or side dishes. Their taste will become even more soft by cooking, roasting or frying them in steam.

For liver health, drink 1-2 cups of green tea and avoid adding milk and sugar to prevent fatty liver from growing.
