According to Himal Gautam, director of the tourism department of Nepal, so far 44 campaigns from 55 countries have been allowed to climb Everest (8,848.86 meters).
He said that the mission consists of 75 Indian climbers including 12 women. The Nepal government has collected a royalty of 653.8 million Nepali rupees with permission to climb Everest this season. He informed that the tourism department has allowed 1,095 climbers to climb 26 different mountain peaks including Everest in this spring.
A total of 73 countries will be included
According to the Nepal government, 114 campaigns from a total of 73 countries have been allowed mountaineering in this campaign. A total of 748.1 million Nepali rupees royalty has been collected from this. So far, more than 8,000 Nepali and foreign climbers have climbed Everest.
