New Delhi, 7 May (IANS). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued an appeal in connection with the investigation of the Pahalgam terror attack. The NIA has appealed to all tourists, visitors and locals to contact the agency immediately if they have any other information, photos or videos related to the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
The agency has already gathered a large number of pictures and videos showing various aspects of the attack and is investigating them. Now it has decided to increase its efforts even more intensity to ensure that no useful information or evidence is missed in the investigation of this heinous crime against humanity.
In an appeal issued through its official website and social media handle on Wednesday, the NIA has requested all such people to call the agency on mobile number 9654958816 or landline number – 01124368800 and provide their personal details as well as to provide details of the information or inputs that they want to share.
After this, a senior NIA officer will contact the caller and arrange relevant information, photos and videos etc. to share with the agency.
The NIA is officially investigating the attack, is serious to investigate all such information, photographs and videos to find any possible clues about the attackers and their way of working. Tourists and others would have known, listened or clicked, inadvertently, see some relevant details, which can help the NIA highlight the conspiracy behind the unprecedented targeted attack on tourists in Kashmir.
The NIA teams are camping in Pahalgam to gather evidence at the site of the attack and are also questioning the witnesses of this heinous crime.
