A few hours after India’s attack on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (PoK), External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday that the world would have to adopt a policy of not tolerating terrorism at all.
Two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack, military attacks were carried out under ‘Operation Sindoor’. 26 civilians were killed in the Pahalgam attack.
The Ministry of Defense said that India has shown considerable restraint in the way the selection of bases and carrying out its action. Jaishankar said on ‘X’, “The world should show a policy of not tolerating terrorism at all.”
It is believed that this campaign was jointly carried out by the Indian Air Force and the Army.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif reacted and said that his country has full authority to “give a befitting reply to this act of war imposed by India”.
He said, “Pakistani nation and Pakistani armed forces know very well to deal with the enemy.”
