Hardoi. In Behatagokul police station area of the district, a high speed uncontrolled car hit the elderly sitting on a roadside gum on Saturday, killing him on the spot, while the young man who was doing the bike was seriously injured. The accident took place in front of Jai Gurudev Petrol Pump near Saidpur village. According to eyewitnesses, the elderly named Shishupala were sitting in the morning opening their groceries and bike repairs as usual. Meanwhile, a sudden car coming at a high speed uncontrolled and collided with his gum.
The collision of the car was so tremendous that while trampling Gumti, she went to the garden about 150 meters away and stopped with a tree. During this, Shishupala died on the spot, while a young man nearby, who was repairing the bike, was seriously injured.
After the accident, there was chaos at the scene. Local people immediately informed the police. The police team of Behatagokul police station reached the spot and sent the injured youth to the government hospital for first aid.
At the same time, the dead body of the deceased Shishupala has been sent for post -mortem.
Police have taken the car driver into custody from the spot. Initial investigation revealed the speed of the car and the driver not controlling the vehicle. The Behta Gokul police have registered a case against the car driver and started investigating other aspects of the accident.
There is deep resentment among the people around after the incident. He says that there are constant speed vehicles in this area, due to which accidents are happening on the day. The villagers have demanded that the administration should put slow sign boards at this place and make proper arrangements for speed control.
