In a decisive retaliation after the firing by Pakistan Rangers on Friday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) has completely destroyed a terrorist launch pad located in Luni in Sialkot district of Pakistan, in front of Akhnoor area of Jammu.
The attack was carried out in response to the ceasefire violation that began at around 9 pm on Friday night.
The BSF said in a statement released on Saturday, “The terrorist launch pad in Luni was completely destroyed.”
The statement emphasized force’s commitment to neutralize the risk of border.
The development reflects a significant increase in tension on the international border, while Indian forces are on high alert to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country.
The BSF said in a statement, “On May 9 at around 2100 pm, Pakistan started firing at BSF posts in Jammu sector without provoking. The BSF also gave a befitting reply to the posts and properties of Pakistani Rangers on the international border. There was widespread damage to the posts and properties of Pakistani Rangers. In front of the Akhnur region, the BSF completely destroyed the terrorist launch pads in Luni in Sialkot district. Our resolve to protect is firm. “
According to officials, no casualties have been reported in the Indian side yet.
Earlier on Friday, in a major security campaign along the Indo-Pakistan border, the BSF had thwarted a major attempt to infiltrate the Samba sector of the Jammu border and killed seven terrorists.
According to BSF, a large group of militants tried to enter the Indian territory under the guise of firing by Pakistan Rangers on Friday morning. However, the BSF’s advanced monitoring grid immediately ascertained the effort.
The BSF said on Friday, “Vigilant soldiers of BSF took quick action and fired fiercely with the intruders. After this, at least seven terrorists were killed in the encounter.”
Additionally, BSF’s retaliation caused heavy damage to the business post.
The BSF, which is authorized to protect the 3,323 km long India-Pakistan border, also released a hand-hand-handed thermal image (HHTI) clip of the destruction of the Pakistani outpost Dhandhar.
Meanwhile, sources told ANI that India retaliated soon after Pakistan attacked 26 places across India on Saturday. Several places on the Line of Control (LoC) still continue to firing intermittently.
Top government sources said that at least four airbases of Pakistan were targeted in Indian airstrikes in the early hours of Saturday. Tension between the two countries is continuously increasing.
