Bhubaneswar: The heat in Odisha is now wreaking havoc. On Sunday, the maximum temperature at 19 places in the state was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius and above, the officials gave this information. According to the evening bulletin of the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center, Sambalpur was the hottest place in the state on Sunday, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.2 ° C, followed by Titlagarh (42.5 ° C) and Bolngir (42 ° C). , Other places entering temperatures above 40 ° C include Sundargarh (41.8 ° C), Angul (41.7 ° C), Jharsuguda and Hirakund (41.6 ° C each).

The maximum temperature in the state capital Bhubaneswar was 40.7 degrees Celsius. The meteorologist said that on Monday, hot and humid conditions are expected in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts.

Temperature in Delhi 37.8 degrees Celsius

At the same time, the maximum temperature in the country’s capital Delhi was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.7 degrees above normal. The Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 1.8 degrees Celsius above normal than 23.6 degrees Celsius.

According to CPCB, AQI between zero to 50 is considered ‘good’, ‘satisfactory’ between 51 and 100, ‘medium’ between 101 and 200, ‘bad’ between 201 and 300, ‘very bad’ between 301 and 400 is considered ‘very bad’ and ‘severe’ between 401 and 500.
