Temporary Ban on Operations of 32 Airports Lifted: Temporary ban on operating 32 airports was lifted

New Delhi. The 32 airports that India had temporarily banned have been reopened. India took this step in view of the ongoing tension with Pakistan and the possibility of airstrikes. After the ceasefire, the Government of India has withdrawn its old decision due to the situation being normal. However, operations from Srinagar Airport have not been started yet. Srinagar Airport will be opened from tomorrow. It is believed that after fully assessing the situation, the operation of flights from Srinagar Airport will start again. Except Srinagar, other airports are now available for civil aircraft operations with immediate effect.

Passengers have been advised by the Airport Authority of India to check the flight situation directly from the airlines and keep an eye on the airline websites for regular updates. The government had earlier issued an order to close these airports till 15 May. On the other hand, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha met the people of the border areas of the border areas who took refuge in the camp of Sahib Bandgi Ashram in Mishriwala. He asked the injured to meet the situation and assured the best possible medical care and full assistance from the administration. After this, the CM also held a meeting with the district administration to review the rehabilitation measures of these people. CM said that it is our top priority to ensure the safety and goodness of our people.
