Negotiations between India’s DGMO and Pakistan’s DGMO
The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan on Monday discussed various aspects of consent between the two sides to stop military action and firing. The conversation of India’s DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai and Pakistan’s DGMO General Qasim Abdullah was to be held at 12 noon at 12 noon.
Negotiations held at five o’clock on Monday evening
However, the DGSMO of the two countries had a conversation on the hotline at 5:00 pm on May 12. Issues related to continuing the ceasefire were discussed that both sides should not fire a single bullet. No aggressive and hostile action should be initiated against each other. It was also agreed to consider immediate measures to ensure a decrease in the number of soldiers from both sides boundaries and advance areas.
It was agreed to stop the ceasefire on Saturday
After a conversation between the two DGMOs on Saturday, an agreement was announced to stop military action and firing. Although cases of violation of consent by the Pakistani Army on Saturday night came up on Saturday night, no such incident took place on Sunday night.

However, it is sad that the Pakistani army decided to intervene and support terrorists, due to which we were forced to respond in the same way.

India carried out accurate attacks on the terrorist structure on the intervening night of May 6 and 7 under Operation Sindoor in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. After Indian action, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on 8, 9 and 10 May.
