Police has revealed the sensational case of the murder of 22 -year -old Saira Parveen in Delhi’s GTB Enclave. Delhi Crime Branch has arrested Rizwan alias Lalla (19), the main accused in the murder, from Karnal in Haryana. According to the police, Rizwan had pressurized Saira to end his friendship with a young man, but after her refusal she shot and killed Saira.
Such incident was carried out
According to Additional CP (Crime) Sanjay Kumar San, Saira Parveen was shot dead on the Service Road in Pocket-A, MIG Flats in GTB Enclave on the night of 14 April. A special team including Inspector Pawan Malik and SI Amit Kumar was formed under the supervision of ACP Ramesh Lamba for investigation. During the investigation, on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence, the police came to know that Rizwan, a resident of Sundar city, was accused of murder. The accused was then arrested from Karnal. According to the police, at the time of arrest he was wearing the same clothes that were wearing on the day of the incident and seen in the footage.
Rejection in love became the reason for murder
In the police interrogation, Rizwan has confessed his crime. He told that about three months ago, he saw Saira while welding near the leprosy ashram in Anand village and then followed her on Instagram. The talk started between the two and then the relationship turned into closeness. But when Rizwan saw Saira with another young man, she started knocking this relationship. Rizwan asked Saira several times to end the relationship with the young man, but when he did not agree, he conspired to kill a desi katta.
Murder night events
On April 14, at 8 pm, Rizwan and Saira met at the leprosy ashram gate. Rizwan was drunk at that time. After talking for a while, he moved towards the Pocket-A MIG flat in front of the beautiful city. There was a debate between the two once again and in anger, Rizwan shot Saira. After the incident, the pistol escaped by giving him to his friend.
Social media was misused
Regarding Rizwan, the police said that he was very active on social media, but due to his studies being incomplete, he used Google translation and voice command to understand the messages and chats coming on Instagram. He told during interrogation that he had taken a pistol from his friend on the pretext of firing at the wedding and was trying to flee Himachal Pradesh after the incident, but the police caught him from Karnal.
Saira has no relation with the old murder case
The police has also clarified that Saira had nothing to do with the Manish alias Rahul murder case in the beautiful city. Saira was definitely a witness to that case, but there is no direct link to that case with her murder. The police had already registered his statement in front of the magistrate. Saira’s assassination has once again raised the question that to what extent the relationships that started through social media can take a dangerous turn, and the youth lacks the power to bear the rejection. The police is now looking for a person who gave arms to the accused.
