The administrative tornado that came after the seasonal storm in Delhi, transfer of top bureaucrat, know who got what

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday made a major reshuffle in the AGMUT cadre, with two additional chief secretaries and several top bureaucrats of the Delhi government to other states and union territories, including one Principal Secretary. Ashish Chandra Verma, a 1994 batch IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre, who was working as Additional Chief Secretary of Finance and Revenue Departments of Delhi Government, has been shifted to Jammu and Kashmir.

Additional Chief Secretary, Environment and Forest Department, Anil Kumar Singh has also been shifted to Jammu and Kashmir, while Sudhir Kumar, Principal Secretary, Vigilance Department has been transferred to Mizoram. Anil Kumar Singh is a 1995 batch officer and Sudhir Kumar is a 1999 batch officer.

Many officers here and there

Special Home Secretary of 2009 batch KM Uppu and 2008 batch Special Transport Secretary Sachin Shinde have been transferred to Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar respectively. Meanwhile, 2005 batch officer Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, who was employed as Divisional Commissioner in Kashmir, has been shifted to Delhi, while 2000 batch officers Dilraj Kaur will shifted from Andaman and Nicobar to return to Delhi, where she was first working in various positions.

Inter departmental transfer and posting

Other IAS officers of AGMUT cadre transferred from Delhi include 2008 batch officer Chanchal Yadav, Vinod Kavale and 2012 batch officer Naveen SL. According to the reshuffle, the Delhi government made inter-departmental transfer and appointment of 42 senior AGMUT and Danics cadre officers.

Additional charge to Bipul Pathak

Bipul Pathak, a 1992 batch official, who is taking charge of the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) industry, has been given additional charge of ACS Environment and Forest. According to the order issued by the service department, 1993 batch officer Prashant Goyal, who was the ACS-cum-transport commissioner, will now be the Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development. 1994 batch officer Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, who was the ACS of the Department of Irrigation and Flood Control and General Administration, will be the new ACS of the Public Works Department. The Principal Secretary of the Home Department, 1996 batch A Ambersu has been made the new Principal Secretary of Services Department.

Nikhil Kumar will be the new health secretary

Nikhil Kumar of 2002 batch will be the new Health Secretary and will also get additional charge of IT Secretary, while Neeraj Semwal of 2003 batch, waiting for the appointment, has been given the charge of Revenue Secretary-cum-Conditional Secretary. Niharika Rai, an officer of the 2008 batch, the Secretary of the Finance Department, will now be the Secretary-cum-Parivion Commissioner, while the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister of 2011 batch Ravi Jha will be the Excise Commissioner of the Government of Delhi.
