The couples who registered in this case lodged a complaint with the police station after which organizer Prakash Parmar has been arrested.

A mass marriage program was organized by the Hindu Jan Vikas Seva Sangh Trust in Ahmedabad. On May 27, mass marriage was going to take place, for which all the couples and their families were preparing. For which every couple paid 22 thousand rupees. But the preparations for the wedding were taking place at home because there was no one to get married, the phone of the registration also started coming off. That is, there was no mass marriage and everyone got cheated. The victim’s family said that the marriage was to be held on May 27, but no preparations were made at the wedding venue a day before the program.
Promised to give goods in marriage
The victim’s family told that they were told that you would have to pay only 22 thousand rupees for the wedding and the couple had to give 22 items including Mangalsutra, silver anklet and Jhumki. For which the organizers had raised a total of 24 lakh rupees. The police have arrested Prakash Parmar, a trustee of the Hindu Jan Vikas Seva Sangh Trust and the organizer of the mass marriage program. Police said that the accused had collected Rs 24 lakh from 113 couples for mass marriage last month and promised to give them wedding goods.
