A shocking case has come to light from Pune, Maharashtra, where a young man who described himself as an Indian Air Force officer has been arrested by the police. This action was taken after input from military intelligence. According to the information, the young man tried to influence women by calling himself an airforce officer.
Identification of accused Gaurav Kumar
This joint operation was carried out with the help of Southern Command Military Intelligence and Kharadi Police in Pune. The accused has been identified as Gaurav Kumar, who hails from Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. He was currently staying in a threat in Pune’s Kharadi area and was working as a receptionist in a hotel.
FIR filed
Military Intelligence monitored Gaurav’s activities for a few days and when the suspicion was confirmed, he was detained from Vinayak Apartment, Lane No. 2, Threte Vasti at around 8:40 pm on Sunday night. In this case, an FIR has been lodged at the Kharadi police station on the complaint of Head Constable Ramdas Palve.
Several items related to Indian Air Force uniform
Police have found several items related to Indian Air Force uniform from Gaurav during the search. These include two T-shirts of the Airforce, a pair fighter pants, a pair of shoes, two badges and e-tracksuit. Initial investigation has revealed that he used to use these clothes to take women in a trap. Police say that the accused has also made relations with some women by falsely introducing the Indian Air Force. Further investigation is being done against him by registering a case under Section 168 of the Indian Penal Code. The police is also finding out if the matter is related to any large network.
