The incident is reported on Monday morning when his wife went out of the house to leave the children to school.
What is the whole matter
According to the report by news agency IANS, ASI Lalit Sirohi, who was posted at New Osmanpur police station in North-East district of Delhi, Flat No. 21, G. D. Colony lived on rent with his wife and two children in Mayur Vihar Phase 3. When his wife left the children in the morning and returned home, she found her husband in a blood -soaked condition, and his official service pistol was lying nearby.
The family immediately took him to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police action after the incident
The local police and forensic team reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
