New Delhi, 19 May (IANS). The price of gold and silver witnessed a boom on Monday. The price of gold has once again reached around Rs 94,000 per 10 grams and silver has reached around Rs 96,000 per kg.
According to the India Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of gold of 24 carat has increased by Rs 1,484 to Rs 93,785, which was earlier Rs 92,301.
On April 22, the price of 24 carat gold rose to about Rs 1,00,000 per kg, since then gold has become about 6 percent cheaper.
Apart from this, the price of 10 grams of gold of 22 carats has increased to Rs 85,907, which was earlier Rs 84,548. At the same time, the price of 10 grams of 18 carats has increased to Rs 70,339, which was earlier Rs 69,226.
In contrast, silver prices have been recorded. The silver price has increased by Rs 1,149 to Rs 95,755 per kg, which was earlier Rs 94,606 per kg.
Along with the spot, the futures market has also seen an increase in prices. The price of the contract of gold on 5 June 2025 has increased by 1.25 percent to Rs 93,600. At the same time, the price of silver on 4 July 2025 has increased by 0.72 percent to Rs 96,007.
Gold and silver prices have been increased in international markets. The price of gold has increased by 1.55 percent to $ 3,236 an ounce. At the same time, silver price has increased by 0.83 percent to $ 32.618 an ounce.
Since the beginning of this year, the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 17,623 to Rs 93,785. At the same time, silver price has also increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 9,738 to Rs 95,755.
