The Cyber Police Station has arrested the accused who cheated the female constable for doubling the money by investing double profit by investing money in the trading company. The police took this action under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana. The accused has been identified as Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Tijara, who was arrested from Tijara and brought to Ajmer and produced in the Hon’ble Court. The court has sent the accused to police custody for two days.
The amount was tempted to double the amount.
Cyber Deputy SP Hanuman Singh said that accused Sanjay Yadav had lured the female constable Saroj Section to double the money for investing in a trading company. Constable Saroj came to the talk of the accused and gave 10 lakh rupees to Sanjay Yadav out of his hard earned money. The accused explained to the constable for some time, but later he stopped picking up Saroj’s phone.
Doubt happened when the phone did not pick up.
On suspicion, Constable Saroj lodged a complaint with her husband Manoj Section at the cyber police station. The police registered a case and started investigation and on the basis of technical evidence, the accused was located and arrested and arrested. The police is now trying to recover the money cheated by interrogating the accused during the remand period.
