Fraudster had tried to get sensitive information related to the company’s funds from the CEO itself by becoming CEO. Sharma has shared the screenshots of the chat with Fraudster on X. Fraudster introduced himself as Vijay Shekhar Sharma and asked him to save his ‘new’ phone number. While this interesting clash of real and fake Sharma forced many people to laugh on social media, it also highlighted the dark side of the digital world.
The real CEO of the company demanded to increase salary from fake CEO
According to the post of Paytm Founder, the fraudsters also asked him to find the finance with the company and give information. The fraudsters also asked Sharma to share the number and contact details of Paytm’s finance head. Not only this, he also asked Sharma to send a suspicious file in the form of GST documents to the finance officer. In this entire incident, the CEO of Paytm also requested him to consider increasing salary, not revealing his true identity.
