On the morning of 19 May 2025, when he climbed the world’s highest peak at an altitude of 8,849 meters, it was not just his personal success, but a moment of pride for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the entire country. Geeta, a resident of Chak village in Sikar district of Rajasthan, has achieved this major achievement by leaving her ordinary family. Geeta Samota performed a 6-week basic mountaineering course at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) training center in Auli (Uttarakhand) in 2015. She was the only woman in her batch at that time. She then completed another advanced course and became the first female climber of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force). The result of Geeta’s hard work and courage was that she became the first woman CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) officer to climb Mount Satopanth (Uttarakhand) and Mount Lobche (Nepal) in 2019. Despite the Kovid-19 epidemic and many difficulties, he did not give up. He started the “Saat Shikhar” mission to climb the highest mountain peaks of all seven continents. Geeta Samota made a special record by hoisting the tricolor on the highest peaks of Australia, Russia, Tanzania and Argentina in just 6 months. His journey has become an inspiration for the daughters of the country.
