External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar today informed the Parliamentary Consultative Committee of Foreign Affairs about Operation Sindoor. In this meeting which lasted for about three hours, MPs also asked many questions from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

According to sources, the questions asked by the MPs to the Foreign Minister mainly had questions related to America’s mediation, Indus Water Agreement and Operation Sindoor. It was said on behalf of the Foreign Minister that India has hit Pakistan’s morals by the accurate action taken by India on terrorist bases.
Information was given after the operation was over
According to sources, on the controversy arising out of the recent statement of the Foreign Minister, the Foreign Minister told the MPs today that after the operation was over, the DGMO was informed to the Pakistani DGMO and not informed before the operation started.
America did not mediate – S Jaishankar
In today’s meeting with the Foreign Minister, MPs also asked the question whether America had done any mediation in the whole process? On this, the Foreign Minister told the MPs that the US did not arbitrate that on the phone from the US, it was said from India that the talks will be held only at the DGMO level.
Indus Water Agreement is still suspension- Jaishankar
The Indus Water Agreement was also asked whether any intention of India is to restore the agreement? According to sources, the government said in response that the Indus Water Agreement is still under suspension.
