The CBI court today sentenced a person from UP to life imprisonment, raped a 12 -year -old minor girl and also made a video of her. The court has also imposed a fine of 2 lakh on the accused. The accused hails from Aligarh. The CBI had registered a case against Naveen Kumar of Aligarh on 12 August 2024 on charges of child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Accused children used to make videos

The CBI had said in its report that the accused had sex with the children and kept her video and photo. CBI investigation into the case reached the cyber tipline of Google through the ICSE database of Interpol and the Cybercrime I4C center of the Ministry of Home Affairs, in which the CBI had found several objectionable evidence against the accused.

What did the CBI find in the investigation?

The CBI had found in the investigation that the accused Naveen had also formed a relationship with a 12-year-old minor girl during the year 2021-22, which she had also made a video. It was clear in the video that the accused used to force the minor to do sexual activities with the victims. The CBI arrested the accused on 6 September 2024. Since then, the accused was in Juvenical Customs.

Sentenced to life imprisonment

The CBI itself intervened in the case as the victim or her family had not informed any agency till the case was registered. The CBI completed its investigation in this case within just 6 weeks. Apart from this, the CBI also filed its charge sheet soon so that justice is not delayed.
