Prime Minister of Pakistan reached Iran
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif spoke on May 26 to hold peace talks with India to resolve all issues including Kashmir, terrorism, water and trade. Shahbaz Sharif is currently in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Pak PM has reached the second phase of his journey to four countries here. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had earlier reached the Turki, from where he has reached the capital of Iran, where he was welcomed by President Masood Pageshkian at Sadabad Palace. Here Pak PM was given a guard of honor. This was followed by a conversation between Pakistani Prime Minister and Iran’s President Pageshkian.
Ready to interact with India- Shahbaz Sharif
Addressing the Joint Press Conference with Porashekians, Shahbaz Sharif said that he is ready to talk with India for peace. He said, “We want to resolve all disputes including Kashmir and water issues through dialogue and are also ready to interact with our neighbor (India) on business and anti-terrorism issues.”

However, the PM of Pakistan further said that if India adopted the path of war, Pakistan would answer. He said, ‘If they take an aggressive stance, then we will protect our land like we did a few days ago. Sharif further said, but if India accepts my offer for peace, then we will show that we really want peace and seriously ‘peace’.
At the same time, India has already made its stand clear that it will talk to Pakistan only on the return of PoK and the issue of terrorism.
