Beijing: A chemical plant exploded in China’s eastern Shandong province on Tuesday. This information has been received from the news in the government broadcaster ‘CCTV’. According to the news of government news agency Xinhua, after the explosion, teams of rescuers have been sent to the plant in Gomi city. The Emergency Management Ministry has been working in active mode since receiving information about the blast. The officials say that no casualties were reported in the incident at present.
Several KM heard the sound of explosion
After the explosion, local fire and rescue services have sent 55 vehicles and 232 personnel to the spot. An employee working in the hotel, about 3.5 km from the explosion site, said that he had heard a loud voice of the explosion.
