According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total active Kovid-19 cases in the country have reached over a thousand. There are a total of 1010 active cases in the Corona update of India, with recently 753 new cases have been reported.
According to government data, Kerala currently tops the top 430 active cases. Other states with remarkable cases include Maharashtra (210), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83) and Karnataka (47).
The Thane Municipal Corporation said that earlier, 21-year-old Kovid-19 patient, who was undergoing treatment at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Kalwa Hospital in Thane, was killed.
A 21 -year -old youth, a resident of Mumbra, was admitted to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Kalwa Hospital in Thane on 22 May for treatment.
According to official sources, on Saturday, Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava reviewed the case in relation to the corona cases reported in several states, mainly Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka etc.
It has been observed that most of these cases are light and care is being taken at home. However, the Union Health Ministry is vigilant and is constantly monitoring the situation through several of its agencies, official sources said.
According to the Union Health Ministry, most of the reported Kovid cases were mild and did not need to be hospitalized. Monitoring of respiratory diseases continues through integrated Disease Monitoring Program (IDSP) and ICMR in the country.
The Union Health Ministry is cautious and active in keeping a strict monitoring on the status to ensure that proper measures are being taken to protect public health.
Although Kovid-19 is now considered another type of viral infection, basic precautions such as hand hygiene, wearing masks in crowded areas and avoiding unnecessary congestion are still being encouraged.
