Hamirpur. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Monday attended the dialogue ceremony with newly appointed forest friends at the sports ground of the Government Heartly Institute, Badu near Hamirpur. On this occasion, he took the salute of the march past of forest friends who came to the state.
Forest friends of the state government participated in 2,061 forest beat across the state. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister also launched the Rajiv Gandhi One Promotion Scheme and the Chief Minister Green Adoption Scheme.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhu also administered the oath to the forest friends and on reaching the venue, the Chief Minister also visited the various exhibitions set up by the Forest Department.
The Chief Minister said that the Congress government’s scheme has been to provide employment to the youth and 2,100 youths have been employed in the forest department, they have been given appointment letters of forest friends near their home, out of which 55 percent of the daughters have got employment. Appointment of beat wise was very important in the state, which has passed out parade today.
During this, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that nature has awarded many gifts along with faith and culture to Devbhoomi Himachal. The biodiversity here is a boon for all. The state’s forest wealth is making unprecedented contribution in the field of environmental protection, tourism and economy. With the formation of the government, we have resolved to establish Himachal as ‘Green State’ and are continuously working in the same direction. To make the state green, our government has launched the Rajiv Gandhi Forest Promotion Scheme. Under this scheme, fruitful plants are being planted on barren lands by the state government with shared efforts of Mahila Mandals, youth mandals and self -help groups and also providing employment and income opportunities to them.
On the new recruitments through the Selection Commission in the state, CM Sukhu said that the recruitment process of 917 TGT non -medical and arts has started, under which eligible candidates are applying and they will be provided employment soon.
Chief Minister Sukhu replied to the Leader of Opposition and said that the BJP government had looted the wealth of the state. The state which used to come to RDG 11 thousand crore rupees has reduced only 3,200 crores, which has spoiled the financial situation of the state.
He said that four to five thousand crore rupees used to come at all places in the form of GST, it has been reduced to just 150 crores. Despite the difficult situations, we are engaged in strengthening the economy of the state and in the last two years, an additional revenue of about two and a half to three thousand crores has been received.
He said that earlier this money was looted by thieves by corruption and the public did not benefit. But despite the loan of 75 thousand crore rupees as soon as our government is formed, the Congress government has worked and has worked to remove all the problems.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Sukhu’s political advisor Sunil Sharma, Sujanpur MLA Captain Ranjit Rana, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank President Kuldeep Pathania, District Congress outgoing president Suman Bharti, Forest Department Principal PCCF Forest Department Summer Rostogi, Additional Chief Secretary One K.K. Pant, PCCF Wildlife Amitabh Gautam and other administrative officials were present.
