Tata Harrier Ev Launched: Tata Motors has launched the much awaited Harrier EV in India at an initial price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It does not include the price of charger. Booking will start from July 2. The Harrier EV will be introduced in three variants-adventure, fearless and amprades, with Tata’s Tata Cowad Wheel Drive (QWD) Dual-Motor All-Vowel Drive System option, which is the first to EV from an Indian car manufacturer.

In terms of design, its overall look has not changed much compared to the internal combination harrirs, the main difference is the eV-unclosure grill design, in the Reprofile Central Air Dam and EV-Specific alloy wheel design on the bumper. The cabin is also not very different from the Ice SUV, with familiar bits such as touch-sensitive climate control and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The 12.3-inch touchscreen of the Ice Harrier has been replaced by a 14.53-inch Neo QLED display-about which Tata says this is the first time in automotive space. In terms of features, the Harrier Ev has many techniques of Ice Harrier such as panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control and Level 2 Adas technology, but in addition there are many new features that can be talked about. The QWD variant has 6 terrain modes in addition to 4 drive mode. The color mode includes rock crawls, snow, gravel, sand and normal, with the sixth mode can be customized by the driver. Front and rear cameras also serve as built-in dash-cams with digital rearview mirror with internal storage up to 129 GB. An off-road assist mode or off-road cruise control for QWD is also unique, so that users can determine a low speed for the vehicle when it is going out of the common way.

The co-driver seat in the top variants is also powered, while the audio system is upgraded with the new JBL Black Speaker with Dolby Atmos. The Harrier EV also has an autonomous parking function, which allows autonomous parking even without sitting in the vehicle. There is also a summons mode in the system, so that users can call the vehicle out of the parking lot with a button touch. Harrier EV has also introduced a new drivepe app in the form of part of its IRA connected car feature suit, allowing ujetes to pay UPI via Central Touchscreen. The Harrier also supports EV vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load function. The first one can be used at a maximum rate of 5 kW, while the second one can be used at a maximum output rate of 3 kW. Talking about the powertrain, unlike its front-wheel-drain ice equivalent, the Harrier EV has a rear-wheel drive as a standard, with a 235 bhp electric motor that is added with a 65 kwh or 75 kwh battery. The second 156 bhp electric motor is added to the front axle in the QWD variant, providing a joint output 391 bhp and 504 Nm peak torque.
