Every year on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, countless animals are brought to sacrifice in the national capital, but this time two special goats remain the center of attraction for the people.
According to the owners of these goats, their specialty is that their body appears to be written on their body naturally in Arabic language ‘Allah’ and ‘Mohammad’. However, buying them is not a matter of everyone’s bus, because the price of one goat has been fixed at Rs 15 lakh and the other five lakh rupees.
Seventy and 40 kg Vajni these goats have been brought to Meena Bazar cattle market near Jama Masjid in Old Delhi to Shamli in Uttar Pradesh and Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh.
According to Usman, who worked as a barber in Shamli district, the goat raised in the house gave birth to this goat and the ‘Quran Hafiz’ (Quran) child of the house saw ‘Allah’ and ‘Mohammed’ in the Arabic language on his body.
He told ‘PTI-language’ that the 14-month-old special goat is about four feet and weighs about 70 kg. According to him, this goat is of the Jamnapuri breed, whose color is white and has black spots in place, but its real feature is the pattern of black spots emerged on its skin, which looks like the shape of the word ‘Allah’ and ‘Mohammed’ in Arabic at three different places on its neck.
Usman said that he has fixed the price of this goat Rs 15 lakh and claims that the goat has been bid for Rs 13 lakh, but he has not sold this animal and he is expecting to get it even better.
Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on June 7 this time. This festival is also known as Eid-ul-Zuha and Bakrid.
Competent Muslims on Bakrid sacrifice goats or other animals in the path of Allah. For this, every year, apart from Bareilly, Amroha, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Badaun of Uttar Pradesh, goat traders from Haryana and Rajasthan also turn to goat mandis in different areas of Delhi.
Mandis of goats are installed in areas like Meena Bazaar, Seelampur, Jafarabad, Mustafabad, Shastri Park, Jahangirpuri and Okhla of Old Delhi.
In the mandis, goats of breeds like ‘Totapari’, ‘Barbara’, ‘Mewati’, ‘Desi’, ‘Ajmeri’ and ‘Bamdoli’ have been brought for sale.
Vegetable seller Mohammad Salim, who came from Bhind district standing equal to Usman, said that the shape of the word ‘Mohammad’ appears in Arabic on the neck of his goat of desi breed.
He said that the goat is about three feet in height and weighs 40 kg. According to him, he has fixed the price of 18 -month goat at five lakh rupees and it has taken three lakh rupees.
According to Salim, it is a pet goat of his house and he came to know through social media that such goats get high price before the goat, so he has come to the capital to sell it. He says that he will reduce the price of the goat at a maximum of five -10 thousand rupees.
At the same time, Usman claimed that he has shown many Maulana to his goat who confirmed that ‘Allah’ and Mohammad have been formed in Arabic at three places on his neck.
He said that his economic condition is not good and he believes that this goat will remove him a lot of troubles by “Allah’s mercy”.
Atiq-ur-Rehman, a resident of Kucha Pandit area of Old Delhi, who bought a goat for himself for thirty thousand rupees, said that goats written ‘Allah’ and ‘Mohammad’ come every year in Arabic and people understand that they are close to Allah. According to him, Maldar people also buy such goats.
However, it is not that there are only millions of rupees in the market. From Meena Bazaar to Seilampur, there is also a lot of normal goats worth 12 to 35 thousand rupees and most people prefer to take goats of this class. According to goat traders, goats of this class weigh up to 15–22 kg.
According to Islamic belief, Prophet Ibrahim was going to sacrifice his son Ismail in the path of Allah on the same day, then Allah gave life to his son and an animal was sacrificed there, in which the festival is celebrated.
In the three -day festival, the people of the Muslim community sacrifice the animals according to their status, which are not banned under Indian laws.
