New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today planted a sindoor plant at the garden in the PM residence in Delhi on the occasion of World Environment Day. PM Modi recently went on a two -day visit to Gujarat, when women in Bhuj in Kutch district presented this plant for the success of Operation Sindoor. These women, who presented a sindoor plant to Modi, made a significant contribution in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and made a significant contribution. Modi had especially met these women and mentioned the indomitable courage of those women even during his address from the stage. Modi had said that he will plant this vermilion plant in the Prime Minister’s residence.

Prime Minister Modi had said that it is my good fortune that the heroic mothers of the 1971 battle came here and blessed me and also presented a plant of vermilion tree. Let us tell you that in the 1971 war, the runway of the Indian Air Force was destroyed in the bombing by Pakistani Air Force. After this, the women of Kutch had prepared the runway in just 72 hours, regardless of their lives. This helped the Indian Air Force a lot.
