Prime Minister Narendra Modi today gave a big gift to Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated the world’s highest railway bridge ‘Chenab Bridge’ to the country. During this, PM Modi was seen walking on the Chenab Bridge with a tricolor in his hand. This elevated was a wonderful view of India. He then flagged off the Vande Bharat train connecting Katra to Srinagar, which is the first train service between the Kashmir Valley and Jammu region.
Modi flagged off the train in the presence of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

PM Modi reached Kashmir and also interacted with the people working on the project. Chenab Bridge, which is the world’s highest rail Arch bridge, is located in the seismic region five. This bridge is built between the two mountains, where the wind tunnel finamena is seen because of the strong winds. Keeping this challenge in mind, the bridge is designed to withstand the wind speed of 260 kilometers per hour. The bridge is built on the Chenab River and its height is 359 meters, which is more than the Eiffel Tower. It is a 1,315 meter long Steel Arch Bridge, which is made in such a way that it can also bear earthquakes and strong winds.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the school children in the train before flagging off the Vande Bharat Express connecting Katra and Srinagar to Katra railway station. He also interacted with the railway employees present in the train.
