A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Bahilpar village of Sahajanwa police station area of Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, where the husband brutally murdered his wife. But the most shocking thing in this case was that soon after the murder, the accused husband himself reached the police station and confessed his crime.
After reaching the police station, he said – “I killed my wife”
After the murder, the accused Angad Sharma went directly to Sahajanwa police station and told the policemen present there, “I have killed my wife.” Hearing this, the police immediately came into action and reached the spot with him. The scene there was frightening – the body of the woman was lying in a blood -soaked condition on the bed.
The police took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem and arrested the accused and started questioning.
Love marriage was done two years ago, but caste became wall
The inquiry has revealed that the accused Angad Sharma and the deceased Neha had a love marriage two years ago. Both lived in front of each other’s house and gradually their relationship deepened. But the castes of both were different, so their families opposed the marriage.
Nevertheless, both of them went to the temple and married and started living in Karnataka for some time, where Angad used to work as a carpenter.
Doubt ruined life
After some time Angad and Neha returned to the village. Initially Neha was kept in a rented room, but later she started living in her elder sister living in Gida police station area. There she used to work in an agency.
According to the police, Angad suspected that Neha had an affair with another person. Due to this suspicion, both of them often used to fight. This tension increased so much that Angad finally took a dreadful step like murder.
SP North gave information
Gorakhpur SP North Jitendra Srivastava told the media that, “Prima facie the case seems to be associated with mistrust and suspicion between husband and wife. The accused himself surrendered in the police station and accepted the murder. We have taken immediate action and sent the body for postmortem. The accused continues to be questioned.”
Atmosphere of mourning in family and village
This dreadful incident has caused sensation in Bahilpar village. According to the villagers, Neha was quite calm and sociable and had no enmity with anyone. The people of the village are surprised by the incident that a young man like Angad, who was considered very simple earlier, took such a cruel step.
Social stress and mental disturbance behind murder?
Experts believe that not only family tension or love affair behind such incidents, but also like mental volatility, social pressure and lack of communication also play an important role. Many times caste discrimination and social disdain also put pressure on the couple’s relationship.
What does law and order and society say?
This murder has once again forced to think that love marriages, especially of different castes, are not safe in society even today. The police may arrest the accused, but the question is whether such cases could have been resolved in advance?
Now what next?
Police are currently interrogating the accused Angad. The knife/sharp weapon used in the murder is also being recovered. After the postmortem report comes, the murder will be confirmed and investigated deeply. A criminal case has been registered in this case and a charge sheet will be filed soon.
conclusion
Another marriage turned into death due to another love story, suspicion and social stress. Neha is no longer in this world, but her murder is definitely learned to the society that trust and respect in love is necessary – no one knows when the relationship should turn into blood.
