Financial assistance is available in these states
Apart from the central government, state governments also run similar schemes for inter -caste marriage. On marrying a Dalit, the Rajasthan government gives Rs 5 lakh while the UP government gives from 50 thousand to 2 lakh rupees. Apart from this, the Haryana government also provides financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh. The Maharashtra government also runs a similar scheme.
