In the US, India got a lot of benefit during Biden’s tenure. He could stand with his old friend Russia during the Ukraine War and buy oil at low rates despite Washington’s sanctions on Moscow. The Biden administration held very little talks with Pakistan. But nothing can be said in the case of Manmouji Trump. They do not know when hot, when you will adopt a soft attitude.
New Delhi needs to learn some lessons from the current crisis. It is best to draw red lines on issues of national interest at the cost of annoying the US President.
