A wife caught in the trap of Facebook love hatched a conspiracy to kill a minor lover, court sentenced life imprisonment

A heartbreaking case has come to light from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, in which the wife brutally murdered her husband along with her minor lover. In this case, the court convicted the wife and sentenced them to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 15,000. This incident is not only going to break the confidence of the matrimonial relationship, but also reveals the dangerous side effects of social media.

The whole matter: love, cheating and then blood

Rohit Kumar (28), a resident of village Mahua in Izatnagar area police station of Bareilly district, was married to the accused Aarti. In January 2023, Aarti befriended a minor boy from Kesarpur village in Bhuta police station area on Facebook, which soon turned into a love affair. When Rohit came to know about his wife’s relationship, he opposed it and started assaulting Aarti.

Distressed Aarti told the whole thing to her minor lover and the two together conspired to kill Rohit. On 8 January 2023, when Rohit was in a state of intoxication, Aarti along with her lover and her partner killed her.

Dreadful conspiracy to murder

Aarti held her husband Rohit’s feet, while a teenager was pressing her neck.

The second teenager made several attacks on his neck with a knife, killing Rohit on the spot.

After the murder, the body was thrown into the field so that the case could be shown suicide or accident.

Police investigation and evidence opened secret

After the incident, the police recovered several important evidence from the spot:

A piece of blood -soaked sari

Blood marks on the soil

Slippers

These evidence pointed the police to Aarti. In strict inquiries, Aarti confessed her crime. Police arrested Aarti and sent them to jail and teenagers were also kept in a child improvement home.

Court verdict: behind bars of jail for life

In this heinous murder case, Sessions Judge Gyanendra Tripathi (Court No. 14) sentenced the accused wife Aarti to life imprisonment and also imposed an economic penalty of ₹ 15,000. At the time of the verdict, Aarti started crying bitterly in the court and begging for apology. But the court made it clear that killing a husband by a wife with his minor lover is a serious crime, whose sentence cannot be forgiven.

Lesson for society: Social media crime arises

This incident is a warning to the society:

When the friendship made on social media turns into love and then crime, it cannot be said.

The lack of mutual communication in marital relationships and the breakdown of faith many times brings fatal consequences.

Strong family monitoring is necessary to prevent minors from social media addiction and adult relationships.

conclusion

This incident of Bareilly is not just the murder of one person, but a family, a relationship and a social fabric. While the friendship started on Facebook took the life of a young man, a woman was taken behind bars for a lifetime. With such matters, the society should not only take lessons, but should also seriously consider the role of social media and the weakness of the family system.
