Priya saroj: The ring ceremony of Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party’s newly elected MP Priya Saroj will be held today at a grand Five-Star Hotel in Lucknow. Priya Saroj is a Samajwadi Party MP from Machilishahar. He defeated BJP candidate BP Saroj by 35,850 votes in the 2024 general election. Priya, who reached Parliament at the age of only 25, became the second youngest MP of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Priya was born on 23 November 1998 in Karkhiyanv village in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. His father Stormy Saroj is a senior leader of the Samajwadi Party, who has been a three -time Lok Sabha MP and is currently representing the Kerakat region in the UP Assembly. Priya’s mother is Munni Devi, and she has a brother and three sisters in her family.
Priya, who grew up in the political background, initially kept herself away from politics, but after college she began actively in legal and social fields. The experience of his father’s participation in the election campaigns gave him a grassroots of politics. Gradually, she became an active activist of Samajwadi Party and in 2024 as a candidate.
