The Congress on Monday alleged that the Modi government has deeply shocked the country’s democracy, economy and social fabric in the last 11 years.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused ‘X’ in a post that the government has only ink granddaughter of dictatorship on every page of the constitution in these 11 years. He said, “The BJP-RSS has weakened every constitutional body and attacked their autonomy.”
Kharge said that whether it is against public opinion to demolish governments from the back door or forcibly implement a party dictatorship, the rights of the states have been ignored and the federal structure has weakened.
The Congress President said that efforts are being made to spread the atmosphere of ‘hatred, threats and fear’. He said, “The exploitation of Dalits, tribals, backward, minorities and weaker sections has increased continuously. There is a conspiracy to deprive them of reservation and equal rights. Constant violence in Manipur is the biggest evidence of BJP’s administrative failure. ”
The Congress chief claimed that the BJP-RSS has made a habit of maintaining the country’s GDP growth rate at 5-6 percent, which was an average of 8 percent during the UPA. He said, “Instead of fulfilling the promise of 2 crore jobs annually, crores of jobs were taken away from the youth. Public savings have been the lowest in 50 years due to inflation and economic inequality has become the highest in 100 years. ”
Kharge claimed that demonetisation, wrong GST, lockdown without plan and attack on the unorganized sector have ruined the future of crores of people. He alleged that programs like Make in India, Startup India, Stand Up India, Digital India, Namami Gange and 100 Smart City have failed.
Kharge said, “Railways have been ruined. Only ribbons of the infrastructure built hard by the Congress-Sambraga have been cut. The Modi government has ruined the last 11 years in the ink of dictatorship on every page of the Constitution.
The BJP appreciated the rule of the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and said that this period of his rule would be written in golden letters.
Modi said on Monday that India has not only become the fastest growing major economy during his government, but has also become a major global voice on important issues like climate action and digital innovation.
