For the past several days, another revelation has been revealed in the honeymoon massacre that created a sensation in the country. The Meghalaya Police has claimed that the accused wife Sonam Raghuvanshi had given a contract of Rs 20 lakh to the contract killers for the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi. According to the police, Sonam initially paid an advance payment of Rs 15,000 to the attackers.
On Tuesday, Sonam was arrested from Ghazipur in UP and handed over to the officials concerned. After his arrest, he was brought to Shillong the same night. The police got success in catching Sonam, who has been absconding for several days, when he arrested Sonam’s alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha and three other accused. It is believed that after this arrest, Sonam herself surrendered in frustration.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, the accused Raj was not ready to go to Meghalaya even after the frequent abetment of Sonam. But Sonam got her ticket and offered Rs 15 lakh in return. However, the police is currently investigating these claims. Sonam was brought from Ghazipur to Shillong via Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati. According to the police, Sonam kept quiet on the way.
Actually, the matter has shook the entire country. Many sensational revelations were made on Monday. Sonam came to know that both of them did not go missing during the honeymoon, rather she had killed her husband with the help of her boyfriend. Sonam and Raja were tied in the sacred bond of marriage on May 11, went to Meghalaya for a honeymoon on 21 May and went missing on 23 May.
According to the police, the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi was a pre-drawing. SP Vivek Seym, SP of Eastern Khasi Hills, said, “The FIR clearly mentions that the king was murdered and taken by precious goods. Sonam’s involvement in paying the killers and later offering a large amount indicates a conspiracy.
